Creamy white clay with a smooth porcelain texture. Fires to cone 10 to 11. Bisque at cone 04. This clay was designed by James Tingey for atmospheric firings such as salt, soda and wood. This body yields beautiful effects without the need for flashing slip. This version contains a small amount of silica sand for added strength and atmospheric effects when fired in a salt or wood kiln.
